Financial Reports

Livestork generates financial reports directly from your recorded transactions, no manual data entry into a separate accounting system required. Reports are available for every area of the finance module.

Available reports

Livestork includes eight standard financial report types:

Report

Profit & Loss Statement

Income and expense summary for a selected period. Grouped by revenue category and expense type.

AR Aging Report

Outstanding customer balances grouped by age: current, 1–30, 31–60, 61–90, and 90+ days.

AP Aging Report

Outstanding supplier balances grouped by age, showing what you owe and when it falls due.

Cash Flow Summary

Inflows and outflows for a selected period, derived from recorded payments.

Trial Balance

All account balances at a point in time. Used to verify bookkeeping accuracy.

Balance Sheet

Assets, liabilities, and equity at a specific date.

Farm Profitability

Profitability breakdown by batch, linking farm operations to financial outcomes.

Sales by Customer

Revenue by customer for a period, with average invoice size and payment performance.

Note

The Farm Profitability report links batch data (feed, mortality, weight) with financial data (revenue, cost of goods) to give you a true profit picture per batch, something not possible with general accounting software.

Running a report

All reports are accessed from the Reports section in the left navigation. To run a report:

  1. 1Navigate to Reports in the left sidebar.
  2. 2Select the report type from the report catalogue.
  3. 3Set your date range and any applicable filters.
  4. 4Click "Run Report". The report generates instantly for most date ranges.

Reports are generated in real time from the underlying transaction data. There is no end-of-day batch process; data posted this minute is reflected in reports immediately.

Date range and filters

Every report includes a date range selector with preset options:

  • This month / Last month
  • This quarter / Last quarter
  • This year / Last year
  • Last 30 / 60 / 90 days
  • Custom range (any start and end date)

Depending on the report type, additional filters are available:

  • Farm site: Filter to a specific site (Enterprise accounts only).
  • Customer / Supplier: For AR and AP reports, filter to a specific counterparty.
  • Account code: For GL reports, filter to a specific account or account group.

Exporting reports

Every report can be exported in three formats:

PDF

Formatted for printing or sharing. Includes your organisation branding and logo.

Excel (.xlsx)

Full data export with all columns and rows. Suitable for further analysis.

CSV

Plain comma-separated values for import into other systems.

To export, click the Export dropdown button on the report page and select your preferred format. Large reports (more than 10,000 rows) are processed in the background and sent to your email as an attachment when complete.

Scheduled reports

Any report can be scheduled for automatic generation and email delivery. Common use cases:

  • P&L statement delivered on the 1st of each month
  • AR aging report every Monday morning
  • Daily cash flow summary to the finance manager
How to set up a scheduled report
  1. Open the report you want to schedule and run it with your preferred filters.
  2. Click Schedule in the report toolbar.
  3. Set the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly), delivery time, and recipient email addresses.
  4. Click Save Schedule. The first delivery will occur at the next scheduled time.

Tip

For periodic management reviews, create a saved filter set for your standard reporting period and share it with your management team. This ensures everyone is looking at the same slice of data when discussing results.
