Financials that lag two weeks behind reality

Disconnected bookkeeping

Operations run on one system, accounting on another. Costs are re-entered manually, slowly and imperfectly.

No batch-level profitability

You know total sales and total costs, but not which batches are profitable and which are dragging the business down.

Cash flow surprises

AR and AP managed informally. Outstanding invoices and upcoming payments only become visible when cash is tight.

From batch dispatch to ledger entry

Livestork connects dispatch, invoicing, payment, and ledger posting into one unbroken chain: no re-entry at any step.

Common questions

Does Livestork use double-entry accounting?

Yes. Livestork's finance module is a full double-entry accounting system. Every transaction (sales, purchases, expenses, payments) creates balanced journal entries in the general ledger. The trial balance is always zero; the system prevents unbalanced postings.

How does batch cost flow to the P&L?

Production costs are allocated directly to each batch as they occur: feed costs from consumption records, health costs from treatment records, and labour costs from operational entries. At batch close-out, the total cost is matched against sales revenue to calculate batch gross margin. This feeds the P&L automatically: no re-entry.

Can I reconcile bank statements in Livestork?

Yes. Bank reconciliation lets you match recorded payments and receipts against bank statement entries. Unmatched transactions on either side are highlighted. Reconciliation differences can be investigated and resolved within the system.

Does Livestork support multiple currencies?

Livestork's base currency is configured per organisation. Multi-currency transactions can be recorded with exchange rate conversion. The general ledger and reports are presented in the base currency with exchange gain/loss captured separately.
